So Game of Thrones season 8, episode 3 (The Long Night) has come and gone and the night king is finally dead or destroyed. But I have my shortcomings. I feel bad when the Dothraki horde was wiped out. Not entirely though. Some of them made it back to Winterfell castle. I think the writers of this awesome show should have left the Dothraki horde with the rest of the men and woman defending Winterfell. The wight walkers should have rushed on them.
Another great scene was when Drogon threw the Night King of the back of the wight dragon, Viserion. Drogon is quite large. Viserion gravely wounded
Rhaegal and forced the dragon mounted by Jon Snow to crash. I think it’s cool that Jon Snow would ride the dragon named after his father, Rhaegar Targaryen. Dragon fire couldn’t kill the Night King and Danaerys had to turn Drogon around before the Night King could pierce him with his ice cold spear. Jon Snow chased after the Night King because to stop him from getting to Bran Stark, the three-eyed raven. But the Night King had other ideas. To stop Jon Snow from getting to him, he rose all the dead.
The best scene was when Arya Stark came from nowhere to stab the Night King. I suspect Arya was standing with the wight walkers with the long white hairs when one of them looked sideways. The way the Night King caught her in mid-air and how she dropped the sword and catch it with her right hand, stabbing the Night King was awesome. That was an epic scene to a long night of death and violence. I hoped the battle scene satisfied the bloodthirsty fans of GoT.
I am glad that the second dragon, Rhaegal didn’t die. Can’t wait for episode 4. Don’t read spoilers, they messed up my life.
