KIM DAVIS: HYPOCRITE OR SAINT.
For those of you who don’t know who Kim Davis is, she is an American county clerk in the state of Kentucky who refused to issue marriage licenses to same sex couples (gays or homosexuals). The US Supreme Court had earlier held that the right to marriage is guaranteed to same-sex couples by the Fourteenth Amendment of the American Constitution. A lawsuit was filled against her and she was jailed for 5 days.
She was also in the news again after the pope visited the US last week. A statement from the Vatican insists that the meeting might have been manipulated by her and her lawyer. The pope only gave audience to his very close friend who is openly gay.
You might also know that this lady got married four times and got divorced three times. She is a mother of twins, who were born five months after she was divorced from her first husband. But funny enough he isn’t their biological father. Her third husband is but the twins are adopted by her second husband, who also married her after her third husband divorced her.
Wow! And she said she became a born again christian in 2011. Hmmmm…….I’m thinking about what Jesus Christ would do if he were present today. In Matthew 22.21; he says “render unto Ceaser the things that are Ceaser’s, and unto God the things that are God’s!”. Jesus himself would have issued that license, attended their wedding and taught or preached at the wedding and made them repent. He wouldn’t have condemned them, would he? And Kim Davis committed adultery by getting pregnant for another man yet she is quick to label others as sinners. What would Jesus say again? “He who is without sin should cast the first stone!”
Today’s Christians are self righteous and religiously fanatic. They take laws into their hands. It would have been better if that lady quit her job and fought for her beliefs against same sex marriage. If she wants to keep her job she should issue those licenses, if not she should resign. I don’t support gay marriage and find it disgusting for a man to behave like a girl in real life. But for a christian to go against the law of the land and against the teachings of Christ himself and his apostles, you are a damn hypocrite! You shouldn’t call yourself a christian. I rest my case.
